The Canteen opened its doors in December, 1996 in the old Joe Bar location on 7th Avenue South. It features an elegant Bistro style menu in a casual atmosphere. At night, the Canteen transforms into an upscale martini and cigar bar. Lunch is served in the Canteen daily from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The Canteen bar re-opens at 4:00 p.m. A less expensive and extensive version of the Bombay Café menu is served nightly at the Canteen.
