Break N’ Bread 2010

Every October the Birmingham Originals throw a huge party at Pepper Place called “Break ‘n Bread“. Many of the restaurants on BirminghamMenus participate in this event. This year the event will be held on Sunday, October 10 from 1-5 p.m. at Pepper Place Market located at 2829 Second Avenue South in Birmingham, AL. A portion of ticket sales from this year’s annual Break ‘n Bread will benefit Children’s Hospital and the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Birmingham Originals is a group of over 30 passionately independent restaurant owners and associates who are committed to increasing awareness of our unique regional flavors.

With food from dozens of your favorite local restaurants, wine and beer selections, live musical entertainment including Cleve Eaton w/ The Alabama All Stars, and The Erin Mitchell Project, local market vendors, and a children’s area with pumpkin decorating and other activities, there really is something for everyone. This is the premiere wine and food event of the year in Alabama.

Tickets are $35 for adults, $12 for those 12-20 years of age and children under 12 are free. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $75 and allow access to tented seating and a special selection of wines.

December Events at Cafe de Paris

Enjoy an afternoon of music and fine food at Cafe de Paris on Sunday, December 6th. Marian McKay and Her Mood Swings will perform live from 12pm to 2pm.

Then on December 8th, celebrate Cafe de Paris 1 Year Anniversary. To commemorate this occasion, a special menu will be featured. Later that evening, at 8pm enjoy the smooth sounds of Magalie Minaud and Ray Reach, Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame Pianist. It is bound to be a great celebration.

Special Brunch at Cafe de Paris

Cafe de Paris will have a special brunch this Saturday, from 10am to 2pm. Prices range between $10.00 to $14.00.

A special $25 Dinner Menu will also be available; featuring Grilled New York Steak, Pan Crusted Tilapia, Pan Seared Catfish, Stuffed Crepes and more.
