We’re getting ready for our next Discount Gift Certificate Sale, which will be the largest offering in the history of our company. It will also take place on our new and improved storefront. To spread the word, we’re going to have another Twitter contest. All you have to do to enter is follow us on twitter and post this:

Every weekday leading up to the sale we’ll pick a winner from anyone that follows us and retweets our message. The winner will win their choice of any available gift certificate from the current quarter. We’ll pick our first winner tomorrow, and one a day for the next two weeks. 10 winners in all, $250. From the winners, we’ll also pick a grand prize winner that gets their pick of $50 certificates from the upcoming sale. You can only win once. We’ll announce our winners on twitter.

Twitter Contest

Welcome to the new BirminghamMenus.com. As promised, we’re letting our Twitter friends know about it first. We’re planning on having some fun on Twitter with recurring contests, so let’s get started.

BirminghamMenus Twitter Contest #1

1. Go to the new BiminghamMenus and navigate to a restaurant page that you like. If your DNS hasn’t updated, you can also find the new site here.

2. Take a picture of yourself with the new site in the background. If you want, you can smile, act happy, give a thumbs up, or even wear a funny hat. I’ve posted an example of myself to the right.

3. Post the photo to TwitPic, and tweet about it. In your tweet, include at the beginning “The new @birminghammenus is now online“. You can also add “and it’s awesome” if you like.

4. If you can’t figure out TwitPic, you can email your photo to nate@eatlikealocal.com. However, this is a Twitter contest, and TwitPic is extremely easy to use.

5. We’ll accept entries until today at 5pm.

6. Once we have all our entries, we will pick the winners out of a hat at random. The grand prize winner gets a $100 gift certificate of their choice. The second place winner gets a $50 gift certificate. Five people will also win a $10 gift certificate.
