The Demetri's BBQ tradition began in 1962, one block from our current location, as El Rancho BBQ. In 1973, Demetri brought his already famous BBQ sauce, original pie recipes, and home cooked breakfasts to the present location. While being in Homewood for 40 years, it has been great to see people eating here year after year, meeting with friends, and taking food home to their families. We have accumulated a long list of special people we have met and the best customers for which anyone could ask. Some of you are known by your familiar faces, some have become good friends and are a special part of our lives.
