Bongiorno Italian Restaurant is located in the heart of Crestline Village, and features Birmingham's best Italian fare. Opened in 1988 by Guiseppe Magnolia who came to Birmingham from New York after successfully operating Joe's Restaurant and Pizza.
Dining at Bongiorno is a close second to a trip to Italy - with choices such as spaghetti, ziti, calzone, lasagna, chicken Parmigiana, tortellini, linguine and shrimp marinara. Italian entrees, plus scampi, tuna and grouper, are among diners' top choices.
