We were sad when Grey House Grille closed (we spent many an hour on their outdoor patio sipping a happy hour martini while munching on their blue cheese potato chips), but we are THRILLED that Lovoy’s is going to be taking their place. Lovoy’s will be closing their Greensprings location sometime late April and reopening at SoHo Square in the former location of Grey House Grille in early May. Bright Star an American Classic
The Bright Star, a Birmingham restaurant serving up food for over 90 years, is famous not only for their food, but for their friendly atmosphere too.
On February 8th, The James Beard Foundation, one of the culinary world’s most prestigious organization’s announced the five honorees for the 2010 James Beard Foundation Awards America’s Classics category; The Bright Star is one of the five honorees named and Birmingham couldn’t be any prouder.
